I have a client who is moving from Crystal Reports Server XI R2 to 2008 V1. I did an import of their entire repository from the old server to the new one and it appeared to copy all of the objects with no errors. When I open the Business View manager, however, it appears that it did not import any of the connections that I had set up. I can recreate those with no problems, but loading any other objects, whether it's a Data Foundation, Business Element or Business View brings up the following errors (some table names and such renamed to protect the innocent):
CrystalEnterprise.MetaData.BusinessView: InfoStore missing child object while loading: "My Business View".
CrystalEnterprise.MetaData.BusinessElement: InfoStore missing child object while loading: "TABLE1".
CrystalEnterprise.MetaData.DataFoundation: InfoStore missing child object while loading: "My Data Foundation".
CrystalEnterprise.MetaData.DataTable: Loading "TABLE2" with warning: child "Ad58O0OczHBHutABXveVpqk" is missing or has no viewing rights.
...repeated for every table in the Data Foundation...
CrystalEnterprise.MetaData.BusinessElement: InfoStore missing child object while loading: "ELEMENT1".
CrystalEnterprise.MetaData.BusinessElement: InfoStore missing child object while loading: "ELEMENT2".
...repeated for every Business Element...
If I try to reconnect a table in the Data Foundation to my newly created connection, I get the following error:
"There is no connection object inside the table. Either the connection object has not been set, or the table has a parameterized connection. You need to set the current value of the connection parameter before getting the connection object."
I don't know what it's talking about with a parameterized connection, but it definitely doesn't have that. There doesn't seem to be any way to export the repository into an XML file or anything, and I've tried both a direct export/import and also tried exporting to a BIAR file and importing that, with the same results.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Update -- I exported to XML and imported through the Business View manager. It took a while, but it worked! Everything seems to be working with no errors now.
