EPM EHP4 to EHP5

Hi Experts,

We implemented Performance Management using EHP4 (still in Web Dynpro for ABAP) in ESS/MSS. Now we are planning to implement all other ESS/MSS functionalities using EHP5. My questions is How do we deploy EHP5 in Netweaver portal? How do I migrate or upgrade Performance Management to EHP5? Please advice.

Hi,

On the PM part of the question, no additional settings or changes should be necessary after upgrading to EHP5.

Yes its correct, but make sure you have correct iviews and roles being used.

EHP5 is also WD ABAP for PM and all other aplplications, so you wont be doing extra customisation or deployment it will remain the same!

Hi Hagen/Siddharth,

How about downloading Business Package? I have already EP4 ESS/MSS Business Package installed. What If I install ESS/MSS EP5 Business Package on top of it? Is that Ok to do it? Please advice.
