View Layout visibility

Hi experts

I'm creating my first Z WebDynpro ABAP component, but i can not see the view layout because it shows:

"This program cannot display the webpage

Most likely causes:

You are not connected to the Internet.

The website is encountering problems.

There might be a typing error in the address ..."

Of course i am connected to internet and i can open any page in browser.

I already check in tcode SICF and my system has activated sap/bc/wdvd service and sap/bc/webdynpro child services.

I do not know if i must do some action specially with my SAP user or with HOSTS file of my personal computer ; or something like that.

Does some body can help please ?

Hi.,

This seems that u didnt maintained host entries.,

Click Run -> enter drivers -> goto etc folder -> double click on hosts file -> open with note pad.

there u need to enter the host entries., like .. 192.....<server_address> <tab> <domain> <tab> <host>

ask ur basis team., they will configure that..,

In fact I have not added any value to my HOSTS file, let me check that ; i'm going to see this with basis people.

Done, I added the IP server of my SAP environment in HOST file and now the WDA component view shows the layout.
