Hi
i have a user who cannot access InfoView. He gets the message Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage in the logon box. This occurs no matter what machine he logs onto on our network. Our IT department has rebuilt his profile, we have deleted all cookies, we have tried using the IP address instead of the BOBJ server name - just cannot get it to work. I have checked the users setup - I think it must be something to do with his profile on IE7 but don't know what to tell our IT department.
We are using BO IX 3.1 on IE7.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
regards
Juliet
Do you use Windows AD authentication and SSO?
What kind of web server do you use?

Hi,
If you turn on friendly error message in IE you may get more details, It might be due to the user profile belongs to several Windows AD Groups, check the following SAP Note,
1203906 - Error: "The page cannot be found. HTTP 400 " Bad Request" when logging on to InfoView using Active Directory authentication for some users
Thanks,
Muhammad
Hi
Issue has been resolved using SAP note 1292826 - Error: Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage. Thank you very much for pointing me in the right directioin. Unfortunately our IT manager had given me the wrong server type, it is IIS7 and not IIS6 which is why SAP note 1203906 did not resovle the issue.
Thanks for the help
Juliet
