Unrelease the PO

HI

PO was released and inline for A1 approval i mangae to ask A1 to reject or cance the po and iam unable to unrelase the po using me29n or me28 it says document has already outputted(function not possible)

Hi,

This is because of the designed of Release strategy configuration.

I hope in Release indicator you might have used 1- Cannot be changed

If your requirement is that even if document out putted & still it allows to change use 6- Changeable, new rel. if new strategy. Or values change/outputted.

This allows changing even after document printed.

Hi guys ,

i have also faced the similar issue recently .

i solved like this .

please use ME28 and select the check box Cancel release . Scope of list given as BEST. then given the PO number . i am able to unrelease the already released PO .

Hi,

I believe you are receiving the error ME175?

With ME29N you cannot cancel a release strategy once the document has

been printed out. This behaviour constitutes a new design. Regarding

ME28 it has been decided to keep the old behaviour and you can cancel

the release if there is at least one message type which has not been

printed out.

it has only one message type there is no new one and if the po is approved by A1 (final release ) can i able to amend afterwards
