Item gets confirmed even if the stock is unavailable

Hi all,

An item gets confirmed even if the stock is not available.The item is relevant for availability check and this is make to stock scenario.System takes the material availability date two days after the order creation date and proposes schedule line date after 3 days from the order creation date.

Check without RLT is marked in the availability check

Please assist

see the scenario,

I will explain you with scenarios

Case 1

In OVZ9 check without RLT time is not marked and RLT time in MMR maintaines as blank in MRP3 view

The combination is 02 individual requirements and A that is SD sales order assuming that 02 is maintained as checking group in MMR in sales general plant data MRP3 view

Three materials available A,B and C

Stocks in unrestricted for A and B is zero and C is 50 units

Sales order is entered A and B and C materials say 100 units each and saved as the qty is confirmed in schedule lines as the reasons mentioned in last post

While creating delivery your material is again undergoing availability check with the combination in OVZ9 that is 02 individual requirements and B that is SD delivery

That is why in this case no qty is copied in delivery doc for A and B and 50 qty copied for material C

Here in the scope of check the RLT time is marked that is ticked hence it is happening like that

If need be you can check your delivery doc overview screen from the menu bar-environment-and availability (for the combination 2 and B theRLT time will be ticked)

if you remove the tick in config in OVZ9 02 individual requirements and B that is SD delivery the actual sales order qty will be copied into delivery and picking can be done but NO PGI

There is small deviation in the example mentioned here

You are having 2 materials with sufficient stock and one with insufficient stocks but we have discussed two materials with no stock and 1with insufficient stocks

That is why for materials X and Y there is no problem for you only Z is the problem

Coming to your issue

Order created in 04.04.2009 for material Z 100 and there is insufficient stocks only 50 is available

There is a inward movement on 05.04.2009 for 100 units so total is 150

But the sales order is for 100 only

You want the system to adjust the qty to 100 (from the original copy of 50)

This will not happen? (how the system will know there is 100 inward movement)

How the inward has come it should be thro some PR's or PO's na?

Without configuring the system to consider these inward movements how the system will automatically know?

This is what i was telling you to configure your OVZ9 screen properly in the prevoius post itself in the sales order level itself

That will solve your issue

Otherwise there is no other option other than redoing the availabilty check in VA02 tcode or try to configure your OVZ9 screen in delivery properly

This is what your issue inthe last post itself without understanding that you have to configure you closed the thread

There is one more way

Remove the check without RLT tick in the delivery availabilty check in OVZ9 for 02 and B also

This should work for you but make sure before PGI there are sufficient stocks are available
