Error message is not displaying when outbound delivery cancel

HI All,

I am facing one issue with the return PO with shipment, I have created purchase order-outbound delivery-credit memo and than i have cancelled the outbound delivery without error message.

error message which is to display;M7021.

Kindly suggest what is missing? how to rectify.

Hi,

Cancellation of Outbound Delivery will not give you any message M7021 - Deficit of & & & & because you are not issuing material from company's stock. You are receiving it from vendor and updating your own stock.

Yes, can you please explain the reason why you think the system should prompt error message M7 021 ?

what do you exectly mean with "cancelled outbound delivery"

are you talking about goods issue reversal with VL09?

VL09 will increase your stock, so you cannot expect a deficit of stock message.
