    Hi,

What is Financial year variant? Is it Januray to December or April to March?

If April to March, then have you opened the period for May (As the error is showing 002, 2011 is not open)

    Regards,

    Maheswaran.

      Hello,

Whats your Fiscal year starting month every year? From January or April every year?

If April, current month is May. In the sequence, April will be 001 & May will be 002. So open the FI posting period for May 2011 (i.,e., 002, 2011)

Please check these link to open the period.

MMPV => Check the current MM Posting Period

MMRV => Open the new period

OB52 => Open / Close new FI posting period

Posting period 008 2010 is not open

      Regards,

      Maheswaran.

    Thanks Maheswaran and thygarajan,

I have got ABAP consultant to debug the transacktion and found out that OB52 table has some fields which are visible in table maintenance which have some data which is not relevent so it is giving error.

    Thanks again

    Regards
