Hi gurus,

I have deployed BI Java SDK 3.5 onto SAP J2EE 6.4 SP5. I've built a simple servlet that attemps to connect to a BW 3.5 system using the XMLA connector. However, the following error was occured:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Helpers (wrong name:

at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass0(Native Method)

at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass(

at Method)

at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(

at sun.misc.Launcher$AppClassLoader.loadClass(

at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(

at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClassInternal(

Could you please reply me back whats the problem with the coding. I have an other query How do we execute the servlet? Thanks in advance.

best regards,

    Hi Srinu;

    first, apologies for not spotting your question sooner. have you resolved the situation in the meantime?

    for your 'class not found' issue, it appears the reference to the library is missing from your servlet. check that you have the correct library references in your servlet.

    to get you up and running, you might also check out this new how-to guide: to use the bi java sdk in a j2ee application.pdf

    good luck and be sure to let us know if you have any more questions;
