HI team ,

we are trying to integrate the service desk on solution manager 7.1 to Remedy , the customer has not purchased any adapter for the integration , we are trying to integrate the SD to remedy using a web service API , is this a standard integration or

should we develope the webservice on our own ,

please provide me with the steps to be followed , Also please let me know wat kind of inputs would be required from the REmedy side for us to integrate these two

appreciate ur response

regards

Praveen

Hi Praveen,

We recently implemented a similar integration between Solution Manager and ZenDesk. This kind of integration is definitely achievable using the API, but I would say it is not trivial and since Remedy already offers an integration solution, you will probably find it cheaper to buy the solution rather than to invest the hours to write (and support!) your own custom interface. I also fear the API is too complicated to get a solution with a "please tell me the steps..." question on the SDN -- after you reviewed the links from the preceding posts you probably already reached the same conclusion
