SAP Router String for the Message server in an HA architecture.

Hello Guys,

We have recently configured the HA architecture on windows 2008 R2 SAP ECC6.0 with MS SQL 2005.

The system is working fine.

and is accessible via the msg server in the LAN.

Now I want to connect the system over the internet using the SAP router.

SAP Router is installed on another server and is working fine.

Pl guide if there is any specific string type I have to use for such kind of routing ( may be /M/msg srvr/... )

Also do I have to specifically add anything to the saprouttab?

Regards,

Yuvi.

    Dear Yuvi,

If you want to connect via internet then you have to put SAP router string in SAP GUI.

    string /H/<saprouter -ip>/S/<saprouter port>/H/

    exp: /H/IP/S/3299

and check the saprouttab file and your IP should be allowed to access SAP.

please check following link for more concept.
