Sales item JR1 tax not getting recalculated after changing item ship-to

Dear Experts,

We are having tax problem when changing the ship-to party of the sales order item... A simple scenario is posted below:

A sales order is created, its header ship-to party is in Oregon. Later we change this particular sales order in VA02, assigning an Idaho ship-to party to one of its items, ideally JR1 of that item should be changed to Idaho tax rate according, however in our system, it still picks up the tax rate of the header ship-to party (in this case, Oregon).

We also find that Message 008(VE): Condition record exists (removed manually) for JR1 when we check Analysis Pricing.

I would really appreciate it if any of you could give me some input...

Thank you!

Ling

Hello

Check following SDN thread (one of my previous response on similar kind of error) and SAP Notes for reference:

-

- Note 26115 - Conditions not updated during field change

- Note 24832 Pricing rules / TVC

- Note 130416 Requirements in the condition preliminary st

- Note 27636 Message: Condition exists (removed manually)

- Note 859876 Condition is missing: Message VE 108 or VE 008

Thanks & Regards

in V/06 T code select condition type JR1 and in Changes which can be made try to make it B Automatic entry has priority.

Did u maintain tax rates separately for both header parties?

Hi moazzamjii

Thank you for your reply, yes, we've maintained the tax rates for the parties. It still doesn't work after changing it to B in V/06.
