"No batchnumber generation defined for XXXX PI11" - COR8 error message

Hello all.

When converting a planned order into a process one I get this message:

"No batchnumber generation defined for XXXX PI11" - where XXXX is my plant code.

As far as I remember, this is something related to external assignment of process orders numbering.

Do you know where exactly I set it in customizing ?

Thanks,

Fernando

    Hi

please try reviewing CO82 Order number ranges, and ensure that under groups there is some assignement for the process order type you are looking for: PI11.

if not, do a seacrh of that PO type on the unknown list at the button and reassign it to a valid Process order range Group

    hope it helps.

      Hello John.

Assignment of the order type is ok.

It seems that it's missing something around order type AND plant, because COR8 works properly for the same order type and different plants.

      Thanks,

      Fernando
