Flexible planning - New key figure

Hi,

I have created new Field catalog for one new info structure. I want to assign new key figures to filed catalog which is not available in standard selection list. What is the procedure to create new key figure in flexible planning?

If the field is 'z' field and table is also z does it reflect in MC18 or MC19?

Dear colleague,

you create the field in yoru dictionary and in MC19 you define the field catalog including that field.

once you have defined your field catalog in MC19 you can choose the field catalag in MC21 when you create yoru own information structure.

You have to create the infromation structure for the same application of the field catalog.

In the field catalog (MC19) you can deifne the source table and field of your key figure. This inforamtion will be displayed in MC21and MC22.

Two questions.

1. How to create new field(key figure) in my dictionary?

2. You have mentioned 'In the field catalog (MC19) I can deifne the source table and field of your key figure'.

I want to create new key figure. Then how it will assign with source table?

Dear,

SAP ECC menu ToolsABAP Workbench->Development--->ABAP Dictionary

T Code SE11 :-

On the ABAP Dictionary Initial Screen, choose Data Type

On the Maintain Data Element screen, choose Data Type, and make the following entries:

Key field Entry

Short Description

Domain Let say :- MENGV15_3 character quantity field

Choose Save.

Choose Activate.

Step two

Logistics u2013 General->Logistics Information System (LIS)->Logistics Data Warehouse->Data Basis->Field Catalogs--->Maintain Self-Defined Field Catalogs

Field Catalog XXXX

Field Catalog Description As you want (Flexible planning )

Catalog Category Key Figure Catalog

Application 01

On the upcoming selection screen, choose four random fields of a random source table by double-clicking. Make sure that the fields are marked with the copied icon (green checkmark), and choose Copy + close.

Then On the previous selection screen, choose Copy.

Then On the Create Field catalog: Key figures catalog screen, delete all entries in the fields SourceTabl, Source Fld and replace the entries in the fields Ref. table, Ref. field with the entries: Ref. table and field.

Choose Enter to accept the changes to the field catalog, and save your entries

Next Creation of Info Structure

Transaction code MC21

Here On List screen, choose the field catalog Flexible Planning by double-clicking. and save it .

And Transaction code MC7F

On the Change View Key Figure planning parameters: Overview screen, choose the first key figure ABSAT in the selection list, and choose Details add your key field.
