Hi Gurus,
I am working on hourly calculation.
The requirement is:
a) The actual amount shoul populate in IT0008
Steps taken:
Created 2 wage types in 0008
1.Basic hourly rate
2.Hourly rate
a)For hourly rate wage type the valuation is (T539J) PRZNT 100% of Basic horly rate.
b)For hourly rate wage type characteristic is (T511) is PRZNT B with input field " + " and " . " for multipliaction factor and it is working fine.
Now unless I assign basic hourly rate in 0008 with a value the calculation is not happening but with this value when we run the payroll it is getting added up i.e basic hourly rate + hourly rate For eg. 18,000 + 100 = 18,100 but he actual amount should be 18,000.
You must be wondering why we are doing this instead of writting a PCR but through this we have to configure hrs in 0008 which is not acceptable.
In brief I would need the actual hourly rate in 0008.
Can somebody help me in this.
Deva
Can you be some more clear
18000*100% means 18000 right

Hi,
Yes,in the number /unit I assign 18000 and the calculation is 18,000/-.
This calculation is fine.
All I want to know is how to aviod the value assigned to the Basic Hourly rate as the vaule assigned to the basic hourly rate is getting computed to the overall salary after we run the payroll.
This is how it looks in 0008
BBBB Basic Hourly Salary 100,00 INR 0,00
HHHH Hourly Salary 18.000,00 INR I 18.000,00 Percent
The total salary has to be 18,000 and not 18,100
I would also like to know if we can assign this wage type other than 0008 and get the calculation in 0008.
Regards.

Hi,
I did remove the tick mark hence in 0008 at the bottom I get the total as 18,000 but after the payroll is processed I find in the remuneratiuon statement both the wage types are getting computed.
Basic Hourly Rate 100
Hourly Rate 18,000
The tax is getting calculated for the entire 18,100.
Is there a way by which we can aviod Basic Hourly Rate from being part of the salary.

Hi,
I need both the wage types coz
Hourly Rate is 100% of Basic hourly rate and the number unit what you see (18,000) is the multiplication factor to get Hourly Rate as 18,000/-
Working:
Hourly rate is 100% of Basic Hourly Rate
So if Basic hourly rate is 100 then the hourly rate is 100.
Now to this hourly rate I need to mutiply 180 but as this is in percentage I have to give 18000
Thus the calculation would be 100*18000/100 = 18,000/-
So the key for this calculation lies with Basic Hourly Salary if I remove then I do not get my end result.
I hope this will give you some clarity.
Now my question is can I aviod this Basic Hourly Rate from being getting computed in the salary because when we run the payroll bith these wage types are getting computed so the out put is 18,100 and not 18,000/- obviously the tax also is getting calculated accordingly.
Looking for your valuable suggestion at the earliest.

Hi,
I am able to run the payroll without the Basic Hourly Salary getting computed.
In the RT I get the following entries.
/113 ESI Basis Nominal
200.000,00 18.000,00 18.100,00
/120 Nom. ExGrat Base Lo limit
200.000,00 18.000,00 18.100,00
/121 Nom. ExGrat Base Hi limit
200.000,00 18.000,00 18.100,00
/129 Voluntary Retirement Bas.
18.100,00
/136 1DSD Basis Nominal
18.100,00
3 /119 PTax Basis Nominal 01
200.000,00 18.000,00 18.100,00
Does the above entries in the RT have an effect on the hourly salary.
I would appreciate if I could get a early responce.
Hi Sikindar,
Thanks for your prompt responce.
I want the hourly salary to be taxed and In my payslip the PF,ESI,PTax all are getting calculated for 18,000/-
But in the RT the entries as shown above has both 18,000 and 18,100.
All I want to know is that will this amount 18,100 will have any effect coz the output is as expected but the table entries are slightly misleading so I just want to be sure that this will not have any effect on the overall salary details.
With warm regards
Deva
