Uisng OMI8 transaction when we create plant parametrs using copy, does the system will copy the list of MRP controllers from the reference plant.If not, plz suggest the way how to create plant parameters in a faster way.

Kindly Use BC Set recording to automated such rocess it helps us a lot in implmention time

when we create plant parameters for newly created plant by copying from any existing plant using OMI8 transaction does the MRP controllers from referencing plant will copy to new plant.

Hi,

If you copy the standard plant to new plant .It will copy all the data(Plant parameters also)

for Maintaining plant parameter, path is

IMG > Material Management > Consumption based Planning > Plant Parameters > Carry out overall maintenance of plant parameters

Hi Sairam ,

When you copy a plant using plant functions, except plant address, almost all other parameters/ assignment details would be copied for the plant.

these details can be changed in a later point of time.

Please refer to TSCM52 for more info about configuration of plant.
