Display Text Line AR Invoice C.R.

Hi Experts,

we are migrating our templates from PLD to C.R.

The only problem is how to display text lines and subtotals in the final layout. In PLD was quite straight - forward, while in CR seems quite complicated.

How is it possible to join correctly INV10 on INV1 to display in the correct order all the extra lines?

Any idea about it?

There is a visorder field in the lines table to help to get the lines in the right order

i am trying to use visorder, but it has the same number as linenum , so i am a bit confused on how to set up a correct query .

HI,

Vis order shows the correct order of lines and not same as line number.

for e.g if you have 4 lines on order and delete one of the line and update order,

check the visorder and line num fields, vis order- you can check difference.

I have just had to create one with this option. I imported the SAP "Generic" layout package to see how they do it & they use a stored procedure - one of the SAP ones - to get it running. Would recommend you do have a look at these as they handle multi currency & lots of other stuff (except BOM display)
