Deletion of Travel request

Hi all,

We are implementing Travel Management and i have a doubt, How can i deactivate or remove the delete option when travel request & Trip is created for an employee.

In my present system it allows to delete travel request & Trip even after it is approved & settled which i think is not right.

Please give your valuable inputs.

You can restrict it via authorization

Hi,

What we have done is something different.

We have made an enhancement on the WD to rename the delete button as cancel and have worked out in a way that the user can cancel the trip before the final approval is done. ( PTRV_PERIO-ANTRG is less than 4)

Can u please provide the business scenario regarding the enhancement u mentioned about cancel instead of delete button.

Please elaborate the business scenario & requirement and how u have captured it.

You can do this via PFCG for example for the role SAP_FI_TV_TRAVELER, You can see also the documentation in SAP Help->http://help.sap.com->Financial Accounting->Travel Management->Roles in Travel Management.

The F1 help in PFCG is very helpful in this regard too and you can define status also as to preventing change to approved trip etc or when trip has gone to accounting.
