Hi All,
We are working on the integration with SAP and MOSS.
We didn't yet installed the Duet Enterprise software yet.
I am trying to understand the components and the landscape to proceed further. My SAP Component version is SAP ECC 6.0.
Here is my question.
I have executed transaction SPROXY and then clicked on Enterprise Sevices Browser. Here I could see that No connection to ESR.
I understand that to connect to ESR I need to maintian the RFC connection.
However I want to understand how the ESR is installed/activated ?
Does it comes along with the Duet Enterprise SAP components or Do I need to install it separately.
By going through the forms I understand that the ESR comes with the SCL layer when we install Duet Enterprise SAP components.
Please correct me if I am wrong.
Thanks & Regards,
Ravi Ganji
Hi,
the ESR is not part of the SCL. It just has to be connected from the SCL(see the developers guide at http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/duet-enterprise?rid=/library/uuid/302608bd-840e-2e10-c2ba-8480e0cf5da....
ESR is for example part of NetWeaver CE 7.2. -- so you have to install it from there. Instructions to install CE can be found here:
https://service.sap.com/~form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=01100035870000727134& -> 3 u2013 Installing the CE Server (64-Bit) -> Installation Guides u2013 SAP NetWeaver CE 7.2
In order to configure the ESR follow the 7.1 guide at

Holger.
