Changing legacy data transfer date

Hi

Summary of the scenario is as follow.

• Asset module has been configured in 2009 and asset values have been recorded.

• The company realized they need to bring "Low value assets" that are fully written off on the date of purchase. These have not been brought into SAP but now it is required.

I have planned to bring the values through AS91 (LSMW). My problem is that AS91 does not allow me to bring in assets with a capitalization data after 31.12.2009 (which is the current Legacy data transfer date).

Is it ok for me to change the "Legacy data transfer date" now when the system is up and running already?

Hello

It is possible to change the values in AS92 after you posted

depreciation, but NOT for the posted depreciation field.

I think you have mis understood the query.

Basically the query is about Legacy Data transfer date which is mantinaed in configuration and the answer is that you can change the date as the assets based on existing legacy data transfer date is already migrated and based on which depreciation got calucated and it is fine now.

Only thing you need to consider here is that the company code is not productive otherwise system will not allow to change the date.
