Calculation of Annual Salary PFREQ-Australia

Hi,

I am implementing Australia Payroll and have configured the annual salary. The payroll frequency is monthly.

I have entered "12" on Line 5 of feature PREQ which is for monthly.

The Feature PREQ is as follows:

52

26

24

13

12

04

01

02

I have encountered that whatever value i enter against the basic wage type is getting multiplied by 24 and is defaulted in field annual salary

e.g. if I enter Basic as 1000, the annual salary is getting defaulted as 24000. Does it mean that always the amount against Basic should be the semi monthly amount i.e. for a monthly basic of 2000, I enter as 1000.

Also following are the values in the tab "Salary amount" in IT 8

Annual Salary 24000

Salary/Monthly 2000

Semi monthly salary 1000

Salary every 14 days 923.08

Wage/weekly 461.54

Salary/Hourly 11.11

These value are ok. But when I run payroll, amount against basic is coming as 1000/12=83.33 . Ideally it should be 2000.

What changes have to be done? Pls suggest?

Regards

Yashika
