How to update/modify TWGV Table

Hello Experts,

Is there a way to update TWGV table?

Our custom program is getting an error that says "Layout xxxxx does not exist". Upon checking, standard program checks TWGV table's LAYVR, and outputs an error when it can't find one. As far as I know, it compares the data coming from TWGLVT and TWGLV.

Any helpful response would be much appreciated.

I am not pretty much sure, why you are trying to UPDATE the table TWGV.

But if you try to UPDATE the database table and if the KEY field that you specify in the workarea is not there in the table, the Obviously it will return the sy-subrc 4.

If you want to INSERT a new entry, in case the data is not existing, then better use MODIFY.

      Hi HM,

Thanks for your reply. Really appreciate it 😊

I need to get this updated because the custom program we're using kinda uploaded LAYVR not existing TWG that's causing an error. I dont knoiw how that happened but, i guess WLAM tcode may be able to add a new LAYVR in TWGV. I still nedd to do further research.

Any other suggestion? Thanks in advance!
