Hi pros,
Is it possible to assigne a default text-based template for emailes in Service scenario in C4C?
Right now only a document based template is assigned to a communication channel, so it is applied automatically to emails sent from service requests in C4C. But no text based template is assigned automatically. Service agent has to choose the text-based template every time manually.
Also is it possible to automatically attach a document to all emails?
Best regards,
Nadezhda Rukavishnikova
Hi Nadezhda
Defining a default text template (e.g. to automatically include the user's signature) is currently not supported. It's a roadmap item with no defined timeline, which we plan to address as we enhance the email capabilities in the new Responsive UI.
Adding a document to all emails is not supported in standard, but can be achieved via custom code. Please also note that you can automatically attach a PDF summary to an automatic email sent via workflow, in case that fits your scenario.
Kind regards,
Gab
