SRM-SUS: Issue in service invoice creation

Hi Gurus,

We are implementing MM-SUS scenario. Our architecture involves a SAP R/3 4.6C, a NW PI 7.0 and SRM 7.0.

We are processing PO including materials without problems into SUS; We create in SUS the PO confirmation, the ASN and the invoice with reference to ASN.

But we have an issue when we want to process PO including service items (In R/3 are POs with item category D and account assignment category K).

Those kind of POs coming OK in SUS, but don´t show information of service line there. After that, We have created the confirmation for the service PO item and the system proposes to us create an ASN as next step.

We think ASN only must be used for materials PO, anyway we have create the ASN for service PO and after that SUS didn't show the button "create invoice" and so it can´t be created.

How can we manage this process into SUS?

Is necessary some configuration to SUS supports Service PO processing?

Can anyone help us with this matters?

Hi Horacio,

For Service POs to be processed in SUS you need to upgrade to ECC 6.0 (SP5). Later you need to activate certain business functions in ECC, activate workflows etc... Once you have upgraded your ECC system as mentioned you can come back with queries.

Thank you for your soon response.

The customer is starting an initiative to upgrade ERP to ECC 6.0.

When you mention about activate business functions, You are referring to execute transaction SFW5 in ECC to activate the package LOG_MM_P2PSE_1?

If necesary perform some additional activity, either in ECC or SUS, to achive full service PO process ready to use?; Would you please specify those?

Hi,

Yes you are right...you need to activate the mentioned Business Function and additionally activate Workflow for Business object BUS2012(create/change) to enable creation of PO in MM.

Then you need to configure your scenario in XI to ensure connectivity with SUS.
