User ip address in Webdynpro ABAP

I have a business requirement that to log who accessed a Webdynpro. Since we are using a generic user, we would like to store the User's IP adress, or terminal name.

I tried using if_wd_application-GET_REMOTE_ADDRESS but this seems to return the IP address of the server.

Methods like cl_gui_frontend_services=>get_ip_address are not appropriate for the Webdynpro context.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Pedro

    Hi

    Try like this..

    DATA: lo_component TYPE REF TO if_wd_component,

    lo_application TYPE REF TO if_wd_application,

    ip TYPE string.

    lo_component = wd_comp_controller->wd_get_api( ).

    lo_application = lo_component->get_application( ).

    ip = lo_application->get_remote_address( ).
