Hi,
for small Target Groups (i.e. Target Groups that can be displayed completely on the UI, < 10k members) you can export them via the export to spreadsheet button on the header of the Target Group item page (right side). Note that only the members that are shown in the table on the UI are exported. For bigger Target Groups, you can only export them to the application server. To do this, you will have to press the "Export to File" button on the header of the Target Group page. this will schedule a job which exports your Target Group to the application server. You can download it from there using report CRM_MKTTG_FEXP_SHOW_FILE.
Hope this helps

Hi Klaus,
I am following the same method to export the BP's to a filefrom a Target group, however the job is getting scheduled but it is not generating any file on the application server, when i go to the spool i can't see anything there. Do i need to do any configuration or customization to achieve the same.
Thanks
Leela
Hi,
the report CRM_MKTTG_FEXP_SHOW_FILE uses a logical file path (MARKETING_FILES in the standard). You could use transaction FILE to check whether the logical file path shown in CRM_MKTTG_FEXP_SHOW_FILE in your system is customized and to which physical file path it points. Then you could use transaction AL11 to check the content of the physical file path. If this is set up properly and the file is not there in this location after you job has finished, I would say this is a bug. In this case, please open a ticket for the issue.
Best Regards
