Consulting reports located in BO Server

Hi all! It is my second post in the forum and i'm learning how to use BO and Crystal Reports tools.

I have a BusinessObjects Server 2008 installed and running in a server. I published some reports and i'm able to consult them throght CrystalReportsViewer used in a web site. But I wanna aswell consult the reports using any application that BO may provide.

I tried using InfoView but i cannot set parameters or filters to the data showed in the report.

Could anyone help me with this issue?

thanks in advance

The InfoView enables you to use parameters and filters that are already created in your report during design. Do you have any parameter fields defined in your report?

Hi Efstratios, thak you for your reply. The thing is that lots of reports have been already published in BO Server, most of them without explicity declared parameters and filters, instead we filter the data by using vb.net code, for example:

{TABLE.AGE} > 30

So there are any other way or tool or app to consult reports published??

Well you can use Publications objects in the InfoView to add your own filtering code but this is not really interactive (the publications are scheduled).

I must admit that your way of interacting with CR for me rather uncommon is.

Ok so i understand that the common way to consult reports published in BO Server is by using InfoView, isn't it?

Unless someone know another tool to consult reports, i consider modify reports including parameters as the solution to the issue.

Thank you and regards.
