Data Type DATS not accepted in DOE.

Hi All,

I am working on the transaction SDOE_WB in the middleware.

I have created a GetList and GetDetail for the Salesorder and i am using them in my Backend adapter.

The Getlist has the following fields VBELN VKORG KUNNR AUDAT and AUART .

When I trigger a initial download, out of the 7800 records in the backend only 6600 comes to the CDS and the rest of the data

comes in when I do a delta download. I want to know why?

I tried putting a break point in the Generated method GET_KEY and I get a dump saying you attempted to move one data object to another. This is not possible here because the internal tables concerned are neither compatible nor convertible

When I remove the AUDAT field from the GetList the error is getting resolved.

I wanted to know if the DOE does not accept the data type DATS.

I Tried with every other data type int4,curr,dec and others all work fine except for this one.

Can someone please give me an explanation for this?

Thanks,

Krutheeka.

    1. DOE supports all the data types. There is no restriction such that.

Can you compare signature in backend table and the GET LIST & GET DETAIL structures used and the DOE nodes.

    2. How is the initial load done? Is it backend push / DOE triggered?

From where the delta load is triggered. from DOE? SDOE_LOAD transaction.

      Hi Siva,

The initial download is done through DOE triggered.

I am using the SDOE_LOAD transaction to trigger the download.

      thanks,

      Krutheeka.
