Add new account assgnment category in IMG

Hi,

I want to know the step by stop process to add the new Account assignment category in IMG settings.

Please provide the complete step by step process.

    Hi Anil,

    Follow the below Menu path in the Implementation Guide (IMG)-

    Supplier Relationship Management --> SRM Server -->Cross-Application Basic Settings --> Account Assignment --> Define Account Assignment Categories

    Here you can define the new custom account assignment categories.

      Hi,

      You can add new account assignement category in IMG-->Supplier Relationship Management -- SRM Server -- Cross-Application Basic Settings -- Account Assignment -- Define Account Assignment Categories.

      You can define your own account assignment categories and assign account assignment fields to them.

      You can also define how the backend account assignment categories are mapped to the account assignment categories in the Enterprise Buyer system.

    Hello,

    You can add new account assignement category in IMG-->Supplier Relationship Management -- SRM Server -- Cross-Application Basic Settings -- Account Assignment -- Define Account Assignment Categories.

    For an example:-

    Select Account assignment and add a new entries

    Account assignment - CC

    Description - Cost Center

    Active - X

    Back end acct asst category - K (according to ur backend system)

    Select the added Account assignment and click on Account assignment fields

    Acct assignment Field(techincal name) : COST_CTR

    Description - Cost Center

    Leading Acct assign Field - X.

      Hi Nileema,

      Thanks for your information.

      I have done the same and i have created a ACC for Profit center.

      I created a ACC as PC and add the field as PRCTR.

      When i check the same in my shopping cart i am able to see the Profit center name in assign account category dropdown box.

      after selecting the profit center i am clicking on Assign number field, but here i am not getting the search help for profit center.

      instead of profit center i am getting GL account search help.

      Could you please let me know how to check the search help for profit center.
