Im facing an issue related COPA realignment,
1.Once the COPA realignment is done in R/3, Do i need to Re-initialize the Delta Process in BI?

additionally to above remarks :if you want to have your historical data in line with R/3, you need to do a full reload.

Please check in source system in table TKEBWL if the COPA data source has FLAG_DIRTY field set, if yes then you need not reinitialize the delta, otherwise you need to redo the init.

Realignments are quite common in R/3 and the change the historical data during a realignment run.
to avoid reinitialization you can set the FLAG_DIRTY field in table TKEBWL.
This will make sure that the deltas arent affected and no re-initialization is necessary.
You can set the Dirty flag by writing an abap code.

But i need historical data too,so how to avoid Re-initialization to get historical data.Can u please help.

Hi Mohan,
When a realignment is run, it is done with specific selections. For eg Sales organization, Division etc.
You can check the selection used to run the COPA realignment.
Then using these selections, you can selectively delete the data from BW side and then do a full repair for those selections only.
