Re: How to see transfer structure in sap r/3 system

Hi All,

In generic extraction I have created extract structure ,in the extract structure I have 6 fields but I am trasferring only 4 fields to the BW system ,So it will creates transfer structure in BW System with the 4 fields but when the Transfer structure in sap r/3 generates and how can see the transfer structure in sap r/3 system.I will give full points if i get the correct answer.

    you can't as such. you can only see the datasource in R/3, and you can assume that all the fields not marked as hidden are in the BI transfer structure. anyway as of bi7, you only have psa (exact copy of Data source). so the question is not relevant any more as of this point.

      hi,

      open the DS in RSA6 and that will be the transfer structure in R/3. All the fields which are marked as hidden will not be transferred to BW.

    Hi,

    Wat are you trying to do....... for what you have said there is no transfer structure in R/3.

    or do u want to go and check the fields present in your extract structure.

    Hi,

    You cant see the transfer structure in r/3 side. But in BW side, open your datasource goto tab 'FIELDS' in that you can see a column called Transfer (after field name, descriotion this column will be there) . In that column you can see whether the particular datasource field is used or not. This column will tell you what is the target structure.

    and you can see the mappings in BW transfer structure for the fields.
