COPA- Issues with the characteristic -Verson.

Dear Experts,

I am trying to implement Cost based COPA on our system. I trying to use the already created characteristics for the task.

The Period/year, record type and the version are 3 characteristics which are mandatory.

When i am trying to enter the version it states

*Characteristic value '001' invalid for characteristic 'VERSI'*

**Message no. KG1105

In 250, I have checked and found there is no charcteristic called Versi i.e. for version. What do i do?

Also is there a document from SAP, that I can use whilst trying to employ copa on our system as a reference guide for the same.

Maintain the Version as 1 or 0 (Check in OKEQ which version exists for your Op Concern /Contr Area)

Enter the version as 1 instead if 001

Check whether version 001 is assigned to controlling area or not.
