Placing HTTPS adapter in the DMZ

Dear All,

Do you know if it is possible to deploy the HTTPS adapter in the DMZ and deploy the Integration server inside the firewall?

If this is possible, does it mean that I need to have two netweaver systems, one to run the adapter in the DMZ and another to run the Integration Server?

Any information on this will be much appreciated/Farshad

Hi Farshard,

Altnerative is to use e.g. Apache as reverse proxy.

Don't have any experience with the Web Dispatcher.

It would be possible to install a second XI system inside the firewall, but it should be sufficient to place the SAP Web Dispatcher or a third party product with equal features inside the firewall to handle incoming calls from the Internet.
