Reasons for actions

Hi people,

is there any standard infotype other than 0000 where we can customize and choose local reasons for actions because in 0000 we can only use global reasons.

So is there any other standard infotype or we have to create custom infotype (9***).

Why would you not be able to create "local" reasons for actions ? If it is because of global standardization implemented by your central office, then your best option would probably be to create a custom infotype.

exactly this is the reason why I'm asking is there any other standard infotype, but obivously we should make custom enfotype and Z table

Hi romano,

For this purpose, we have enhanced IT0128.

There in the tet field we are entering employee concerns about leaving the company.

And in the additional field we have created we are recording action reasons.

IT0128 is added to our infogroups.

what do you mean by "global reason for action" and "local reason for action"?

defining "reason for action" is part of the customizing in table V_T530.

you may define and detailing your own company needs in this customizing whether it's global or local.

if you are part of the big global company and you need additional reason for action that may be different from the global one you can try to contact IT HR in your global company and propose that in your local area you need additional certain 'reason for action' - and mention your background for this needs and the purpose for this needs.

that's my recommendation of what you should do. so that system will be integrated and the global will cover your local area needs.

There is a reason field that exists on some infotypes, like for example, if you look at infotype 8, there is a reason field that relates to pay. Is this something similar to what you're looking for?
