    Hi

TOC is just the copy of your changes which got released to the test/consolidation system without moving the change to the normal CTS delivery mechanism.

so it is logically for testing your software change before move to production, If the tests of your transports of copies are successful, you release the original transports, which can then be transported across other systems.

You can get more about TOC by searching the keyword of "TOC with charm"

Please check the sap note may help you for TOC on Java stacks

    Hi,

    Background of TOC

    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_sm32/helpdata/en/57/38e1a94eb711d182bf0000e829fbfe/content.htm

Its just that with TOC the request dies in QA system and don't go further to Production. Usage may depends on situation and clarified in the link in above post.

    Regards
