Hi all,
I am on BW 3.5, with an Oracle back-end.
I have a cube with an aggregate. I had conducted a load, and then was building the aggregate. The aggregate build job froze, and I had Basis kill it. Now, I can't delete the data from the cube and reload. Every time I try to delete the data, I get a weird error on the 'E' table of the cube, and it doesn't delete.
Any ideas? When I manage the cube, I get a clock in the compression status, so I think killing the job was a mistake, and that it froze with an 'incomplete' or 'running' status or something. I've tried both se12 and se14 without success.
Thanks.
Dave
Hi,
I think there is a lock on the particular object that you have killed. Go to SM12 and delete the lock and try deleting the data.
Thanks

Hello Dave,
Please check if you can remove the clock by right clicking the cube and selecting manage then select the menu option
> environment > Complete Check of Request ID and execute this option.
Kind Regards,
Des
