Characteristics based planning

Hi Experts,

We using the characteristic based planning in our project. I maintained the planning profles and Iam getting the "Conf supporting point" tab also in MD61.

But after maintaining the quantity for each combination of characteristic how system should behave?. Will system split the quantity to the quantities maintained for each combination in to multiple PIRs?.

We are using SOP also for sales planning. In this scenario how characteristic based planning can be done along with SOP.

Hi,

Can anybody throw some light on how the characteristic based planning will happen? Starting from creating from planned independant requirements.

My doubt is after maintaining the PIRs and the usage probabilities, how system will behave?
