The index management service is not running

Hello,

I saw a post from before concerning this issue, but no solution was posted. I've followed the How-To create a web repository and I've created an index for CNN. In the middle of the indexing process, I stopped the process and deleted the index. Then I deleted its entries.

Now I get the message: "The index management service is not running" when accessing the Index Administration.

I'm using EP version 6.0.2.3.4.

Hi Amit,

as I learn from a colleague, he has contacted you directly by e-mail. His comment, however, is that your issue could be due to any misconfiguration. I suggest you open a support message to SAP.

Hi Karsten,

I haven't got any emails regarding the subject and

I have opened a support message.

I don't think there is any misconfiguration because the TREX has worked before.
