Gaps in SAP's Business Content: the case of Stock cube 0IC_C03

Dear Sirs,

We are implementing this cube in a SAP BW 7.0 system, with Business Content 704.

We are finding problems in the SAP delivered transformations (part of Business Content).

For example:

TRCS 2LIS_03_BX_TR -> CUBE 0IC_C03 > Missing mapping for Material.

Alternatives are being tricky to implement:

Option 1) Create new cube and copy and modify transformations:

- when changing the mapping, the system is changing the source code of transformations!! without any action, besides de maping of 0MATERIAL;

Option 2) Try to use the old business conte

- problem: SAP no longer delivers the Update rule from 2LIS_03_BX -> CUBE 0IC_C03!

So please, someone from SAP could explain why the content is no longer delivered...and if we can have it somehow?

Yes. there are issues with 0IC_C03 standard business content for BI 7.0. I would recommend you to use the old BC and not get into correcting the errors. There are mapping issues as well as standard routine issues. So, better you use the old BC until and unless you have a strong understanding of the rules and the routines written within.
