Notional Wage Type

Hi Experts,

Please can you brief me about Notional Wage Type? what is the importance and how distinguish to primary and secondary wage types.

Notional Wage Type are used only for Display purpose They wont impact in RT and any where in payroll Ex:/TPA

Thanks Sikinder,

If they don't have much importance and only for Display purpose where they exactly required in PY-GB and can they be copied to 4 digit numeric in real time?

Yes, i have to place some wage types into one Z-Tble which is used in turn used to run an interface, the list is also consisting of Notional wage types as well.

They are :

Flex - MLF ER CONT

Flex - MLF Refund ER Cont

HI,

Nominal wage type is Wt which holds the amount without any proration.

e.g. - an ee having a wage type with amt 30000 and in april having 3 LWP.

Now actual basis will be 30000*27/30 = 27000.

Whereas nominal basis for this case will be 30000 only.

Secondary wage types are system generated and start with /. NOminal wage type are same and mostly secondary as these are generated by system.

I am not clear on this, my concern is related to Notional Wage Type in PY-GB

hey m sorry i read it as nominal wage type ..... what our expert Sikki has told is the correct.
