Material ledger currencies were changed

Hi Udo,

Can you please help as we getting below error when running the CKMSTART again.

Enter rate SGD / rate type M for 03.05.2011 in the system settings

Message no. SG105

First let me explain what had happened.

i) We are getting error message as below when using MM02 for certain plant.

Material ledger currencies were changed

Message no. C+039

Diagnosis

The currencies currently set for the material ledger and the currency types set for valuation area SG21 differ from those set at conversion of the data (production startup).

So we deactivate the ML using program SAPRCKMJX according to OSS note 53947.     

ii) After when we execute again CKMSTART, we are getting the above error.

Hi Kulasingam,

this error message is strange since it doesn't issue the target currency in the message text. This points to some corruptness in the data. Some data content have an empty entry for the currncy where a valid entry like USD would have been expected.

I would recommend to open up a SAP message (component CO-PC-ACT) so that the SAP support can check the situation within your system.
