result of a strucutre

Hi Colleagues,

I would like to use the operators SUMGT and %GT in formula in a Query where I have

-two stuctures, and only these two strucutres

-in the rows I have the strucutre with 4 selections

-in the columns I have the stucutre with an RKF and the formula.

The formula should calculate the percentage share of the result of the RKF. So Like this

Str RKF Formula %GT(RKF)

Europe 25 50%

America 25 50%

As I have only the structure with the selections in the rows the result of the formula is always 100%.

Is that possible at all what I want? Or do I need to add an extre characteristc to the rows unther the structure to get the result row and to be able to calculate the formula based on that one......

I want to have only these two strucutre if possible.

Any idea?

Thanks,

Laszlo

You have the right idea. there is no results row for the structure, but you can easily accomplish that be creating a new formula in the structure for the rows that is the sum of the 4 structure elements you have. this will give you the same result as a results row.

To use the total of the RKF, use the cell editor to create a help cell for the intersection of the new formula in the row and that will allow you to use that cell in other formulas.

      Hello Vineet,

      Thanks for the update.

In fact I wanted to manage this case without celldefintion. In case of larger Report this could lead to performance issues. As far as I know.

Anyway, thanks a lot for the info.

      Best Regards,

      Laszlo
