Xcelsius - through live office

Hi,

Could anybody throw some light on how to make connections in Xcelsius via Live office.

And how to connect live office to Webi's.

And what is the importance of Live office connections based on On-Demand.

Just for an additional information: Source for WEBI's is SAP queries.

Hi,

This link gives you clear picture how to import data into xcelsius using live office connection.

2)Refresh Options:

Ondemand:

If u have enabled ONDEMAND as refresh option then it will hit the under lying data bast and it fetch you the current and latest data.

reports which require latest data to be displayed uses this option.

limitations:

if the underlying data base contains huge amount of data it may take time to get u the data .

as webi has an option to schedule in bachground ,you can shedule and use latest instance as your refresh option .
