Can't delete DSO request .... Change Log has 0 records

Guys,

I have DSO 0FIA_DS11 that has 3.5 mil records in it. We are inthe midst of converting to 7.0 Enh 1 and we went to try to delete a request from the DSO but the request is still there.

We looked at the Log of Request Operations and we see:

"No records found for request ODSR_4LNRCJ546NQMH6SHPV5FDBJDH in change log /BIC/B0000438000"

We go to the DSO Contents -> Change Log and click on # of entries and we get 0

So the request is activated I'm thinking that SAP doesn't know what to delete because there is nothing in the change log.

Any ideas?

Mike

    hi,

The DSO request entries are maintained in these tables RSICCONT, RSMONICDP, RSODSACTUPDTYPE and RSODSACTREQ.

Try deleting your request from these tables and then delete it from DSO.

you can also try using the FM RSSM_DELETE_REQUES.

    regards,

    Arvind.

      Hi ,

If you want to delete request from manage tab then delete it from RSICCONT table .You can also delete it from RSMONICDP table but it will not get deleted from manage tab by this table .

      Rrgards,

      Jaya

    Hi....

When we delete a request in the Manage tab from the DSO......records get deleted only from the Active table....not from the Change log table....we need to delete the content of the Change Log table seperately..

It often happens that we delete old records from the Change log table to save the table space....

In this case, may be the activation request : ODSR_4LNRCJ546NQMH6SHPV5FDBJDH is already deleted from the change log......

Check the corresponding request number in the RSRQ.....whether it is deleted or not..........or check the same in the Manage tab....

    Regards,

    Debjani......
