Heuristics with Net change planning not getting planning file entries

Hi Experts,

I am running heuristics with Net change planning (/SAPAPO/RSNPDRP1).

For test purpose, I am using only one product P at location L.

As I understand, any change in planning relevant status, would result in a planning file entry for the particular prod/loc. RLCDELETE is one of the actions which result in creating planning file entries. Once, heuristics runs, it reverses the planning file entries.

With the above understanding, currently all demands are balanced with receipts for P @ L. Hence, in Tcode /SAPAPO/RRP_NETCH, I dont get any planning file entry for P @ L. Now I run RLCDELETE which deletes the receipts from the product view of P @ L. Now, if I go back to check planning file entries for P @ L, I dont get any planning file entry.

Any reason for this outcome? Pls correct me if I am missing something.

Regards

Manotosh

Yes your understanding is right. Any change in the demand / supply /stock situation is considered a planning relevant change and should create a planning file entry. Please check the configuration for your net change planning. Have you enabled net change planning for the model ? Check that and see if any setting is missing

Hi All,

In /SAPAPO/RRP_NETCH, if I give prod= P, location = L, planning version= 000 and 'check' the box 'with planning file entry' and 'display planning file', I dont get the planning file in the output.

If I uncheck 'With planning file entry', I get the planning file with the desired planning file also.

Why is that with the option 'With planning file entry' selected, I dont get the results?

Hi Monotosh,

The "with planning file entry" indicator refers to PPDS planning file entry, hence it filters the location products based on PPDS planning file entries.
