Hi All,
I have created a new number range 1 to 5 for object BANF(PR) and in SNRO, the warning percentage has been given as 2%. So the system should give a warning message when the PR comes to no.3, right?? but in my case, it is not giving any warning message even it reaches the last number 5. After number 5, if i create new PR, it is again starting from number 1. Its very strange. Could anybody clear me please.
1) why it is not giving warning message when it reaches number 3 for the above concept?
2) Why it is repeating again from number 1 after completion of number range 5?
please help me.
Regards,
JanaMM
Hi,
In Spro>MM>Pur>Attibutes of System messages
Maintain entry 00 06 225, and 226 as warning and check
Thanks

when you are in SNRO for BANF object, what is displayed in the field for the numbers in buffer.
I guess there is still 10, which means that SAP accessed this range just once, and had not even a chance to get to 10 numbers as you defined only 5 in your minimalistic example
if you have a total of 5 numbers and 3 are taken, then you still have 40 percent left, not just 2%.
enter a percentage of 40%, a buffer of 1 only, you number range from 1 to 5 (probably different now as 1 - 5 is already on your database if you did 5 test PRs), then create 3 new PRs.
But please log off and log in again after you have changed the buffers.
