Reason for Action Issue

Hello,

We have an HR Administrator who has a unique issue when entering Actions. This issue began about a month ago. When she clicks on Reason for Action to get the drop-down menu she receives the following message "No values for this selection". A pop-up appears with the Action code populated and when she hits the check box the reasons appear. We have looked at her PIDS and security but we are unable to determine why this is happening. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Lisa,

    Check V_T530 this table whether reasons are defined for your respective action type or not.

    bcos the reason for actions under specific action type will be picked from this table only. make sure probably reason for action not defined or wrongly assigned. Check properly and let us knw.

    Hi,

    She is having this issue for all actions including Hiring, Transfer, Change in Pay, Termination, etc.

      Lisa,

      Which system Is this happening in, Qty. system or dev or in PRD., this only could be a problem of SU3 i.e. parameter settings only. bcos your other configs as u told earlier seems to b fine.

      So compare your SU3 tcode with the other users in which the system is behaving correctly.

    Not Sure going for the Basic , Are yu able to see the action reasons for the action types in table T530 Generally system should not allow if there is no Reason for the action

    Thank you for your response. All of our Actions have Reasons for Actions defined.

    She is the only HR Administrator (we have about 10) having this issue and it is happening on all actions. Note: she has been an HR Administrator for over 5 years and all of a sudden this started happening. I have been playing with her logon in SBX and I am not able to determine the cause of the issue.

    Users can create personal lists that display only the items marked by the user. I'm not even sure this is possible, but could the user have created a "Personal List" that's empty?

    HI,

    I think the user has chosen the wrong action or u can say that for that perticular actions no any reasons has been defined thats why the pop up menu is triggering and in that menu u can select any action and click on check mark so those reasons which are configured for that particular action(selected in pop menu) will apppear.
