when I view the asset report, the accum depreciation show one figure in a particular period and the GL figures for the Accummulated Depreciation shown a different figure (not a big amount..). Why this is so ?

I require still more assistance:

if it was related to initial balance upload, how can I rectify the error now as the fiscal year relating to that already closed ?

If it is related to any periodic posting, should I just run ASKB and will that resolve the issue ?

It is ascertained that the mismatch is not in the initial balance upload. It was done properly. However, it could be due to unplanned depreciation or APC values not posted, as the user says. Can that be the reason for the mismatch of the figures ?

Hi Nikitha,

Kindly check the Depreciation executed for all unplanned depreciation and all assets.

majorly these differences are coming from unplanned depreciation for assets.

Check all periods are executed dep or not check properly in AW01N.

You can found the amount difference easily.

Once u found the difference amount, execute dep for repeat run for that missing particular asset.

2. Close asset fiscal year 2010 for company code xxxx in transaction AJAB

3. Open fiscal year 2011 for company code xxxx in transaction AJRW

4. Execute again transaction ABST2

Hi,

Check whether it is related to any uploading balances or any unposted transaction need to be processed through ASKB - APC Values Posting .

Hi,

This may be the difference wrongly loaded at the time of initial balance upload.

Also you can refer the earlier post in forum in this regard
