How to only move HR data from R3

Dear Experts,

Presently we are having R3 (ECC6) and now HR team requested for separate instance for HR Module

1. How can we only move HR data from old R3 (ECC6) to new HR Instance.

(What all the issue that we can face?)

2.Is there any way, where we can know how much data HR module is holding in R3 database?

Hi

Take the Help of ABAPer. HR person will guide then which all data need to migrate.

We need to use the SAP service called HCM Carve Out Service from SLO. any way thank you all for your info.

hi,

I dont think its posible, when performing client copy you cant not manualy select which database you want to copy nor sap provide you with relevant database, since HCM it self is related to other module. The next best things is to carefully documented configuration and download all the data and perform lsmw but this is only posible when the HR is not integrated to other module say FICO, PP or SD
