Data loading issue

Hi,

I am trying to load data into a cube, from a base cube having around 9 requests, I tried loading it with Full load, then request by request, and even by pulling the same selection of the base cube but every time it gives me a dump i.e. some SQL error & message "The database system detected a deadlock & avoided it by rolling back your transaction", can someone suggest or have faced such issue earlier?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Sandeep.

    hi,

The system sees deadlock as some operation may still be getting performed on the source cube.

Open tcode SM12 and check locks on the source cube or target cube.

unlock these cubes by asking the basis team to delete these entries (only if the cause of deadlock is irrelevant and you are not performing any tasks on the two cubes). once the lock entries have been removed load the data.

    regards,

    Arvind.

    Hi,

It is also giving following msg :

"Resource Bottleneck"....The current program had to be terminated because a capacity limit has been reached..and

the Error Analysis shows that "The SPA/GPA memory has been exhausted.you can set the size of the memory area in Profile"...

    can anyone explain this?

    Thanks.

      Hi,

I once got this kind of error... reason was the internal tables exceeded the allocated table space...

If you know to debugg... then do a debugging by putting a breakpoint on the line which is throwing the error... analyse the code before that line.

      I hope it helps...

Deleting indexes before loading data will do.
